About Primary Care Center AvestaHälsan Primary Care Center Avestahälsan has been in operation since 2012 and currently serves nearly 8,000 registered patients. Our team of approximately 35 employees includes district physicians, resident physicians, assistant physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapist, midwives, child health nurses, district nurses with various specializations, as well as advisory nurses, medical secretaries, psychotherapists, nursing assistants, and an in-house laboratory. We are a privately-owned primary care center with a healthcare choice agreement with Region Dalarna, which means individual patients have the same conditions, care guarantees, and fees as at a publicly-run primary care center. Avestahälsan is independent from large healthcare companies and operates exclusively in Avesta, while serving many registered patients from surrounding municipalities in southern Dalarna and northern Västmanland. Our core values are: Competence – Care – Service – Accessibility Job Responsibilities We have two physiotherapists working part-time and wish to expand with an additional physiotherapist at approximately 80% (negotiable). You will work closely with other physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and occupational therapist, as well as collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and therapists at the primary care center. Start date April 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Qualifications Requirements Licensed physiotherapist or licensed physical therapist. References available by phone. Meritorious We appreciate experience working in primary care, but most importantly, you must have a genuine interest in working within primary healthcare. Personal Qualities We place significant emphasis on personal qualities. You are solution-focused and have good judgment.
