DUTIES
As a physiotherapist, you will meet patients of all ages in their home environment. So we don't have a reception clinic, we go to the patient's home. We have four care sites in the municipality and we work in geographical teams. We also have a team within disability care and one within short-term activities.
Your duties are to motivate patients toward health and an active life. You assess needs, evaluate function, and implement rehabilitative interventions with clear goals. Sometimes you meet the patient alone and sometimes together with a colleague. You have a rehabilitation assistant and nursing staff to help you delegate certain tasks to. Prescription of mobility and training aids is also part of your work. Collaboration is very important to us, and together in the team we conduct risk assessments to prevent health problems for the patient. We work closely together and collegial support is self-evident with us.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a licensed physiotherapist/physical therapist. Previous experience in the profession is meritorious.
You are good at working independently and in a structured manner. You collaborate with your team colleagues and take responsibility for your contribution to the whole. We value qualities such as being innovative, decisive, thorough, and confident. You are expected to share the municipality's values. You have good experience with IT-based journal systems and can express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. If you have experience with Combine and Cosmic link, that's a plus. A driver's license is a requirement. We offer individual competence development.
