Saab Dynamics is looking for a development engineer for our Fuze Design section - a team where safety and long-term product stewardship go hand in hand. Here we work with electrical igniters and fuze components, the critical components that ensure our products function properly when it really matters. In your role, you will both work on designing new products and managing existing products. You will be involved in designing, developing, and following our products from idea to finished product. Part of the work also involves assisting production with troubleshooting and maintenance, where you handle change requests and ensure that our products can continue to be produced and delivered to our customers. This includes work both in the lab and in the field, and you'll have the opportunity to solve technical challenges and ensure long-term product functionality. Your tasks will be varied and challenging, with significant responsibility but also the freedom to plan your own work. Your Profile We are looking for you who have a master's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering physics, or a similar field. Do you have a different background but a passion for technology and innovation, you are also very welcome to apply! If you have experience in design work and/or systems engineering, that is of course a plus, even though it is not a requirement. We believe you are a driven person who enjoys collaboration and thinking outside the box. You are communicative, both in Swedish and English, and enjoy taking responsibility for your work. You are thorough, have an eye for detail, and enjoy challenging yourself and learning new things.
