At least three years in production, full stack for real — and curious about what AI does to the craft. At Qronos, you build business-critical systems for our customers — in manufacturing, banking and finance, real estate, and the public sector. Our base is Skåne and Malmö, but assignments are where the needs are: in Skåne, remote, and hybrid with customers in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and across Europe. You'll join cross-functional, agile teams where complexity is real and decision-making is fast, and you'll own the full chain: from data model and API to UI, testing, and deployment. We're looking for you because you've moved past the junior stage. You've delivered in production for at least three years, you know how code behaves when it meets real users and real data, and you can own an assignment without hand-holding. At the same time, you want to keep growing — in breadth across more platforms, and in depth toward architecture and AI-driven development. Technical Focus This is the core of our work: Backend in C# / .NET or Java / Kotlin — REST APIs, ORM (Entity Framework, Hibernate/JPA), clean architecture. You're strong in one stream; curious about the other. React + TypeScript in production — component-driven UI, state management, accessibility. (Angular in your background? You're welcome — but React is what customers ask for.) SQL Server or PostgreSQL — data modeling, query optimization A public cloud in production — Azure (App Services/Functions, Azure DevOps), AWS, or GCP: pipelines, foundational infrastructure Testing and quality — xUnit/NUnit, ideally test automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar), Git, CI/CD Strong merits — what the market is asking for right now We're honest: we see demand for these skills every single week. If you have one or more of them, you stand out immediately. A second cloud: two of Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud in production Containers and platforms: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code Data engineering: Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Spark, Python for data pipelines AI in production: LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI), RAG, agentic workflows, MCP — and daily AI-assisted development (Claude Code, Copilot, or similar) with your own opinions on where it helps and where it creates debt Both backend streams: .NET and JVM (Java, Kotlin, Scala) Regulated industries: banking, insurance, fintech, public sector — and understanding of traceability and information security Higher education degree (bachelor's or master's in engineering) — several customers in the public sector require this Flexibility in where you work: open to remote assignments and hybrid setups with travel to Gothenburg, Stockholm, Copenhagen, or further across Europe — that opens significantly more doors Who We're Looking For 3+ years as a developer in production, most of it in .NET or Java Consulting mindset: you're comfortable learning a new domain, codebase, and team, and you quickly become someone the customer trusts Own your delivery — take the lead on your tasks and drive them forward You think code reviews and technical interviews are great opportunities to talk real code Experienced with agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps culture Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written EU citizenship or valid work permit within the EU (required for background checks with several customers) About You You're curious, solution-focused, and confident in your craft.
