Moisture Damage Expert / Moisture Consultant
Do you want to work investigating moisture problems, identifying causes, and helping customers find sustainable solutions?
We are now seeking a moisture damage expert/moisture consultant who wants to join our team. Our office is located in Danderyd and our work area covers Stockholm and surrounding regions.
This role suits you if you have good building technical knowledge, experience with moisture problems, and enjoy independent work where you meet customers and solve real problems in properties.
About the Role
As a moisture damage expert, you work with investigation, measurement, and assessment of moisture and indoor environment problems in villas, townhouses, apartments, and other properties.
You are responsible for identifying the cause of the problem, documenting your observations, and providing clear recommendations for appropriate measures.
Your Tasks
• Perform moisture inspections and moisture investigations • Conduct moisture and RF measurements in wood and concrete, among others • Inspect crawl spaces, attics, basements, bathrooms, and other risk structures • Investigate mold, microbial growth, odors, condensation, and other moisture-related problems • Assess ventilation and indoor climate in connection with moisture problems • Analyze measurement results and identify possible damage causes • Document inspections and prepare professional moisture reports • Develop recommended measures and solutions proposals • Provide customers with guidance on remediation, dehumidification, ventilation, and preventive moisture protection • Collaborate with technicians and installers from investigation through completed measures
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking someone who is thorough, solution-oriented, and self-driven. You are confident in your technical assessments and at the same time understand the importance of professional and educational customer service.
We would like to see that you:
• Have relevant education and/or documented experience in moisture, building technology, or damage investigation • Have good knowledge of building structures and moisture problems • Have experience with moisture measurement and damage investigations • Can work independently and take responsibility for your own cases • Are comfortable writing reports and action recommendations • Have good Swedish in speech and writing • Have a B-class driver's license
Meritorious: RBK qualification, SBR training, or other relevant education/certification in moisture, building technology, or indoor environment.
