Breakfast Server / Service (75%) – Fika & Wine, Gamla Stan About the Position Are you a morning person, service-minded, and enjoy creating a warm and welcoming start to the day? Then you could be our new breakfast server at Fika & Wine. Fika & Wine is a Swedish restaurant concept located at Österlånggatan 26 in the heart of Gamla Stan. In our historic 1500s vaulted ceilings, Swedish food traditions, fika, and beverage culture meet in a warm and personal environment. We serve Swedish breakfast to both the general public and hotel guests from several hotels in Gamla Stan. For many international guests, breakfast is one of their first experiences with Sweden, and we want the experience to be characterized by warmth, quality, and personal hospitality. About the Role As a breakfast server, you will work with the team to prepare and execute breakfast service and ensure our guests have a truly great start to their day. The position is broader than a traditional breakfast role. After breakfast, the workday continues with opening the café, preparing for lunch, and working with café and lunch service. For the right person, there are also opportunities to work in other areas of the business, such as service, stewarding, or bar. Key Responsibilities Prepare and open breakfast service Welcome and take care of hotel guests and other guests Prepare and restock the breakfast buffet Prepare simple breakfast dishes and coffee beverages Serve coffee, tea, and other beverages Prepare and open the café after breakfast Work with café and lunch service Cash register work Keep the buffet, dining area, and service areas clean, well-stocked, and inviting Collaborate with kitchen and other service staff About You We are looking for someone who is a morning person, social, service-oriented, and has natural hospitality skills. You are responsible, detail-oriented, and enjoy order and structure. You can work independently when needed but also enjoy being part of a team. Since we meet many international guests, it is important that you are comfortable with both Swedish and English. Requirements Experience from restaurants, cafés, hotels, or other relevant service roles Good spoken Swedish and English Good collaboration skills Responsibility and positive attitude Desirable Qualifications Experience with breakfast service or hotel breakfasts Experience with café and lunch service Barista experience Experience as service staff, steward, or bartender Cash register experience Experience with international guests Interest in Swedish food, fika, and beverage culture Local knowledge of Stockholm and Gamla Stan About Our Profile At Fika & Wine, we are proud to convey Swedish food, beverage, and fika culture to guests from around the world.
