Now we are seeking committed and driven recreation leaders for Southside Tumba, a central meeting place for young people within Fryshuset Botkyrka. Here you will have the opportunity to be part of creating an activity where children and young people feel seen, included, and valued. About Southside Tumba Southside Tumba is a central part of Fryshuset's upcoming recreation activities in Botkyrka and a vibrant meeting place for young people. Here we run both a recreation club for children aged 10-12 and an activity center for young people aged 13-16. Fryshuset takes over the operation of the activity from January 2027. The activity is built on relationships, participation, and young people's own drives. We offer safe environments where children and young people have the opportunity to explore their interests, influence the activities, and develop together with committed adults. Through creative activities, spontaneous meetings, and meaningful community, we want to create hope for the future and positive experiences for young people in Botkyrka. Your Role With Us As a recreation leader, you will become an important part of an engaged team that together creates a safe, inclusive, and developmental recreation activity. The role is varied and dynamic. You work closely with children and young people in their everyday lives, build relationships, support their initiatives, and plan activities that contribute to community, development, and participation. At the same time, you are part of developing the activity together with colleagues and management. **Your work will include:** Building safe and positive relationships with children and young people. Planning, conducting, and following up activities for the recreation club and activity center. Being a present adult and role model in the activity. Stimulating young people's participation and influence over the activity's content. Guiding, coaching, and supporting young people in their development. Working actively for inclusion, safety, and good community. Collaborating with colleagues, guardians, schools, and other local actors when needed. Participating in activity development, planning, and evaluation of the activity. Contributing to realizing Fryshuset's values in daily work. **Who Are You?** We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people and wants to make a real difference in their lives. Qualifications Requirements Recreation leader training, pedagogical education, or other education that the employer deems relevant. Experience working with children and young people. Strong ability to create and develop relationships. Good Swedish, spoken and written. Good digital skills. Merits Experience from open recreation activities. Experience working with the age group 10-16 years. Experience with norm-critical and inclusive work. Experience with projects, activities, or group work for young people. Competence or experience in music, culture, dance, sports, creative activities, or another passion that can contribute to the activity's development. Experience working in socioeconomically disadvantaged areas.
