Your New Job As an after-school pedagogue/teacher at Fjällängsskolan, you will be an important part of students' entire day. You support their development, learning, and social interaction both during school hours and in the after-school program. Through your work, you contribute to creating a meaningful, developmental, and safe program where students have the opportunity to grow according to their own conditions. You are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on instruction in the after-school program based on the curriculum's goals and the after-school program's mission. Together with colleagues, you develop the program with support from policy documents, research, and proven experience. An important part of your assignment is to actively participate in the after-school program's systematic quality work. This means planning, following up, analyzing, and developing instruction to create the best possible conditions for student learning and development. We are looking for someone who sees the value in using policy documents as a living tool to develop the program and improve the quality of instruction. You will also participate in the school's recess activities where you contribute to creating safe, active, and inclusive recesses. Common Work Tasks Plan, implement, and evaluate instruction in the after-school program. Actively participate in systematic quality work through follow-up, analysis, and development of the program. Work to implement the after-school program's policy documents in daily instruction. Contribute to students' social development, safety, and learning. Plan and implement recess activities that promote participation and community. Collaborate with teachers, student support services, and guardians. Adapt activities based on students' different needs and conditions. Contribute to the development of the after-school program's pedagogical learning environments. Your Competence Requirements Certified after-school pedagogue/teacher in after-school programs You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious You have good knowledge of after-school program policy documents and can implement them in daily work. You have a strong interest in developing instruction and supporting students in their learning process. Your view of students aligns with the curriculum's values-based intentions. You have a great interest in pedagogical challenges and dare to challenge yourself and your colleagues to think about development. You have good computer skills, and it is meritorious if you have worked with digital systems aimed at schools, for example: Google Workspace, Unikum, Skola24 It is meritorious if you have previous professional experience. It is meritorious to have experience working with students with special educational needs or students in adapted primary education, as collaboration with the school's other activities occurs regularly.
