DUTIES You will be placed at Nylandsskolan and be part of the leisure time center team. Your duties include leading, planning and implementing instruction at the leisure time center in accordance with the applicable curriculum together with the leisure time center staff. The leisure time center's mission includes creating a meaningful, active and participatory leisure activity based on the curriculum. Dialogue with students is important for influence and participation. Collaboration with the school occurs naturally and during school hours you work in the classroom with teachers and students based on needs. You may also be assigned certain areas of responsibility within the scope of the activities' needs. In your role as a leisure time teacher, you are expected to be able to make independent decisions, while being a team player. Your communication skills are a large part of the role in conversations with students, colleagues and guardians. You are also expected to regularly work with systematic quality work, which includes students' learning, safety, attendance and progress toward goals. Further, you are expected to have good knowledge in handling various digital systems for documentation, monitoring and management of the activities. In the fall, the leisure time center will switch learning platforms with associated functions for the leisure center's needs, so you will also be an important part in implementing that. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is certified and trained as a leisure time teacher or teacher for younger ages with a focus on leisure time centers. We will place great importance on your personal suitability. It is a merit if you have further education or experience with students in need of special support. It is also a merit if you have experience with substitute teacher staffing, scheduling and/or very good familiarity with digital systems connected to the leisure center's activities.
