We are now recruiting wellness instructors / pool and sports hall workers for several temporary positions of varying lengths up to approximately 1 year, with the possibility of extension. Job Responsibilities A position at Sundstabadet is varied, and your tasks will vary between swimming lessons and pool supervision, which are part of the role as a pool and sports hall worker. If you also have experience leading group fitness classes, you have the opportunity to include that responsibility as well and work as a wellness instructor with us. We offer courses from baby swimming to adult swimming, and depending on your knowledge and interests, you could become an instructor in one of these. In our relaxation area, we offer aufguss experiences where we create relaxing moments as you perform fragrant sauna sessions for our guests. For us, service and hospitality are crucial. We are here for all Karlstad residents, and therefore we ensure that our visitors are met with a safe, inclusive, and fresh environment. Cleaning around the pool areas is therefore an important and natural part of the work. Together with your colleagues, you deliver a complete experience for our visitors that reflects Sundstabadet's values. The facility is open 360 days a year, from morning to evening, which means varying work hours. Qualifications To be suitable for the position, you need to: be able to swim according to Guldbojen requirements be able to dive to a depth of 3.8 meters have experience working in a service profession where you regularly met customers/visitors in an active and dynamic environment be confident in meeting many different people and be able to contribute to an equal and inclusive experience for all our guests have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing For the wellness instructor role, experience leading group fitness classes is also required. This is assessed through a work trial at the interview. It is advantageous if you have: experience from swimming facilities, for example swimming lessons or pool supervision training as a swimming instructor according to Svenska Livräddningssällskapet experience with group fitness knowledge of languages other than Swedish a driver's license, as assignments at other facilities within the operation may occur We are looking for someone with a strong service mindset and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
