About the Position

DP World is a global logistics provider offering end-to-end supply chain, transport, and freight forwarding solutions. The company has a strong international presence and is now building up its freight forwarding operations in Sweden.
You will be part of a small team where operations are being developed. This means you work closely with decision-makers with great opportunity to influence how work is conducted. Here a global network is combined with a more local entrepreneurial daily environment.
Responsibilities
As a Freight Operator, you work operatively with air cargo and are responsible for the entire flow from initial booking to delivery and follow-up. You play a central role in ensuring that transports work in practice, while also maintaining contact with both customers and suppliers.
You handle quotes, bookings, transport documentation, and follow up deliveries on an ongoing basis. The role also requires you to be solution-oriented, especially in situations where processes or systems are not fully established. You are expected to contribute to developing work methods and improving processes as the business grows.
Examples of responsibilities:
• Coordinate air freight (import, export, and cross-trade) from booking to delivery
• Prepare quotes and book capacity with airlines and agents
• Ensure correct documentation (AWB, customs documentation, etc.)
• Follow up deliveries and communicate status to customers
• Handle deviations and contribute to process improvements
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
• Relevant post-secondary education in logistics or equivalent work experience
• Previous experience in the logistics industry
• Advantageous to have experience working with TMS or similar systems
• Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written
To thrive in this role, you need to be self-driven in your operational work and accustomed to taking responsibility for your matters from start to finish. You work in a structured manner but are flexible in how you solve problems when circumstances change.
You are comfortable making decisions in daily work and have a clear focus on finding solutions that work in practice. As a person, you are also communicative and have an easy time building relationships both internally and externally.
