Your Assignment As an AI/ML engineer, you will be part of our technical department, which is responsible for providing FRA with the technical systems needed for our operations. As part of the AI team, you will contribute to FRA's acceleration and development of capabilities in AI and machine learning. In this role, you will primarily work with: - Development, optimization, and management of the agency's AI-based solutions - Improving the efficiency of FRA's models and AI solutions The work involves many points of contact, both internally and externally, and requires that you thrive in a role where collaboration and dialogue are in focus. Since the role involves representing our expertise in various contexts, both domestic and international travel may occur. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: - A degree in civil engineering/master's degree with a focus on computer science or equivalent education. Alternatively, work experience that the employer deems equivalent - Several years of experience programming in Python, C/C++, or similar - Experience and proficiency in building DevOps and/or MLOps pipelines - Practical experience with container-based virtualization frameworks - Experience and knowledge of orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes - In-depth knowledge and experience with Linux - Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both spoken and written We consider it advantageous if you have experience with: - Language models and language technology in products, for example through API integration - Deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow or PyTorch - GPU acceleration in container environments - Container frameworks such as OpenShift or similar - Programming in HPC environments - AI/ML workflows - Management, including version control, of AI/ML models - Implementation and development of CI/CD pipelines for AI models - Configuration and optimization of machine learning systems in production About You We are looking for someone with the following qualities: - Collaboration skills – You work well with others by relating to them in a responsive and flexible manner.
