Job Description As a Security Manager, you lead the court's security personnel in daily and ongoing work related to security, service, and customer relations. This includes scheduling, ordering additional resources as needed within set parameters, and ensuring security staff have the equipment required for their work. You and the security personnel are responsible for maintaining order and security in the court's facilities. You staff the fixed security checkpoint and reception, and are responsible for monitoring alarms and other operational security work such as patrols in the court's premises. Your work includes responsibility for security and courtroom technology briefings during employee introductions and training. Other tasks occurring within the service and security unit may also be assigned. In your role as Security Manager, you also work with security assessments and incident management. You collaborate both internally and externally, for example with court staff, the Police, and the Correctional Service. This role does not include personnel or budget responsibility. You report directly to the Security Chief. Qualifications We are looking for you who: Hold a current and valid security guard commission on the employment date. Hold authorization to serve in security control at a court or are willing to complete training to obtain such authorization. Have experience working as a security manager or security supervisor. Communicate well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Have normal color vision, as work with X-ray equipment requires it. Have experience working as a security guard in an environment where service and customer relations are extensively combined with security work. Have experience collaborating and working with authorities such as the Police or Correctional Service. The position is classified under the Security Protection Act (2018:585). You must undergo a security clearance as part of the recruitment process. Employment requires passed security clearance and Swedish citizenship. Meritorious Qualifications Experience in security training. Experience with systematic fire protection work (SBA). Experience with security technical systems such as alarm and access systems as well as CCTV. In your role as a leader, you monitor security personnel's work in accordance with the court's objectives and can take initiative to deploy resources where needed. You adapt easily to new working methods and conditions. You act calmly and professionally even under pressure. You work proactively and enjoy teamwork with others, and have the ability to build good relationships both internally and externally. The work requires you to be solution-oriented and able to quickly find effective and feasible solutions to problems. You have excellent judgment and make correct assessments and prioritizations based on decisions, policies, and guidelines. We place great importance on your personal qualities and suitability for the work and may therefore use tests as part of the recruitment process.
