Would you like to be part of shaping the future of system management in Kumla Municipality!? Kumla Municipality is undergoing an exciting transformation where we are developing our system management to ensure efficient and secure administration of our systems. We are therefore seeking a Management Leader for Municipal Shared Systems for our Development Department at the Municipal Administration. The Development Department conducts municipal-wide development work and provides support to municipal leadership and departments on various issues and matters. Here you will find support for sustainability work, business development, projects and process work, innovation, change management, digitalization, system management, and site development. As Management Leader for Municipal Shared Systems, you will have a key role where you can influence, coordinate, and ensure that our systems function smoothly across the entire municipality. You report directly to the Development Manager. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES As Management Leader for the municipal shared systems, your role is to ensure that systems function effectively, securely, and in line with business needs. You are responsible for the complete lifecycle of systems—from implementation to decommissioning—and are a central link between operations, IT, and suppliers. This means you will work closely with both the business and IT management leaders. We are implementing a change that involves centralizing the management of our business systems within the Municipal Administration. You will be an important player during the establishment and will continue to be responsible for the following duties: • Lead and coordinate the management of systems—from implementation to decommissioning. • Ensure that systems support business processes and meet business requirements. • Handle troubleshooting, support, and incidents—identify root causes and propose improvements. • Create and maintain access structures—ensure the right people have the right access. • Establish and follow up on procedures for user support, error reporting, and security updates. • Collaborate with IT, process owners, and suppliers to drive development and improvements. • Participate in needs analyses for new systems—contribute your experience regarding business requirements and support needs. • Ensure business requirements are met when implementing new systems—participate in testing, training, and information dissemination. • Prepare documentation and plans for system decommissioning—ensure information is archived correctly. • Stay on top of contract periods, procurement, and renewal of system agreements. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you—someone with knowledge and experience in a similar role who wants to contribute to development work where a down-to-earth approach and pragmatic mindset enable better and more efficient system management. You have the ability to drive, coordinate, and create engagement, take responsibility for the whole picture, and can independently manage overarching issues. You have good documentation skills and master Swedish in speech and writing. You work results-oriented and maintain clear structure in your work, while remaining flexible and seeing opportunities in change. You organize your work efficiently while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You enjoy collaborating and are communicative, attentive, and good at building relationships. You actively seek new contacts and build strong relationships with colleagues, business units, and suppliers. Furthermore, you have a good understanding of both business needs and technological possibilities. You are proactive and not afraid to try unconventional approaches. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • A university degree of at least 180 credits in a relevant field or equivalent education/experience that the employer deems comparable. • Experience working with system management or project management. • Experience leading assignments/projects in this area in the public sector. Experience with information security work and requirements and needs analyses is advantageous, as is experience leading business development and change management.
