About the Position
In your role as IT Operations Manager, you will be responsible for IT-related management of the Business Support infrastructure. This infrastructure supports Svenska kraftnät's internal business areas such as HR, Finance, Sustainability, Legal Unit, Records Management, Procurement, Facilities, and Communications. Together with the business units, you will lead and manage this infrastructure while ensuring stable, secure, and efficient IT delivery that meets operational needs.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing a management plan together with the Business Operations Manager.
Planning, leading, and monitoring IT-related management activities according to the approved management plan.
Staffing IT roles at the operational level in consultation with relevant resource owners.
Coordinating internal IT resources and external vendors.
Participating in prioritization of issues from an IT perspective.
Close collaboration with the Business Operations Manager.
Planning and leading work on risk analyses and disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Working with financial planning and cost monitoring within the infrastructure.
Reporting status, risks, and deviations to the governance board and the IT Owner.
Managing vendor relationships and vendor agreements.
You will become part of an operation where IT plays a central role in development and have the opportunity to influence both the management and further development of our systems. You will be part of the IT HR and Finance unit, which provides IT support to Svenska kraftnät's internal HR and Finance operations. The unit consists of approximately 15 employees and works closely with the business, internal IT functions, and external vendors.
About You
Required Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is organized, stable, and results-oriented with the ability to drive work forward. You are comfortable taking responsibility, prioritizing between different needs, and creating clarity in collaboration with business units, IT, and external vendors. You have strong communication skills, build trustful relationships, and work methodically even when conditions change.
You hold a university or college degree in IT, Systems Science, Computer Science, or equivalent expertise, and have experience in the following areas:
At least 3 years of current experience in IT operations management
At least 5 years of current experience managing IT teams with a minimum of five employees
Experience with budget responsibility or financial monitoring
Experience in vendor management or contract collaboration
Experience with practical application of established ITSM processes, such as ITIL
Strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Meriting Qualifications
We consider it advantageous if you have work experience with:
Security-classified operations and information security work.
Public sector operations.
Active involvement in IT procurement within the public sector.
Application management of systems in areas such as finance, HR, and facilities management.
