Your duties include determining what investment needs exist, both short and long-term, at each operational facility. This is often done in close collaboration with local technicians. You are responsible for preparing necessary documentation for budgets and management plans, as well as carrying out the new and reinvestments required. Your role also includes setting requirements, managing smaller expansion contracts, and participating in inspections and follow-ups. You collaborate with other units and sections at Headquarters, as well as with regional and local coordinators assigned to your region.
We have a nationwide service and support agreement with suppliers where you can receive support and assistance, as well as procure materials and services. Business travel is part of the role, and local visits to prisons and remand facilities in the region are common.
