The Social Services Department is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, services for persons with disabilities, and individual and family care. The department consists of a staff unit and three operational areas responsible for authority, procurement of services, and in-house operations. You are part of the Municipal Director's management team and have overall responsibility for quality, results, finance, and long-term development. The assignment encompasses individual and family care, elderly care, support for persons with disabilities, and the municipality's labor market initiatives. The Social Services Department has a stable foundation with competent managers, engaged employees, and established structures for governance and monitoring. At the same time, the municipality faces several important development issues related to demographic changes, workforce supply, finance, and the future of welfare.
