Administration Director for the Competence and Working Life Administration, Falköping Municipality Do you want to lead the work on Falköping's future competence provision? We are seeking an experienced and confident administration director who wants to lead the next phase in the administration's development. Together with employees, managers, the business community, and municipal leadership, you will lead an operation of central importance for Falköping's competence provision, labor market, and social sustainability. This is an assignment for someone who wants to make a real difference for both individuals and society. Through education, labor market initiatives, and collaboration, the administration creates conditions for more people to achieve self-sufficiency, for employers to find the right expertise, and for Falköping Municipality to meet future needs. About the Administration The Competence and Working Life Administration is responsible for adult learning and labor market issues. The assignment includes municipal adult education, labor market initiatives, and financial assistance. The administration is undergoing development work with a focus on culture, working methods, and collaboration. At the same time, the administration has been given a clearer strategic role in the municipality's overall competence provision and labor market work, in close collaboration with the business community, educational actors, and other external parties. About the Role As administration director, you lead the administration's continued development and create conditions for managers and employees to succeed. You have overall responsibility for operations, finances, working environment, and personnel, and actively contribute to the development of Falköping Municipality as a whole. You report to the municipal director and are part of the municipality's management group, where you contribute to the municipality's strategic development together with other administration directors. The assignment includes, among other things: leading and further developing the administration's change work, culture, and working methods strengthening the municipality's strategic work on competence provision and labor market issues developing collaboration between the municipality, the business community, educational actors, and other external parties developing adult education and labor market initiatives based on future competence needs and individuals' path to self-sufficiency representing Falköping Municipality and contributing to long-term collaborations regionally and externally. A central part of the assignment is to unite education, the labor market, and the business community. You identify changes in the external environment, bring together relevant actors, and translate needs and opportunities into concrete initiatives that create value for both residents and employers. Who are we looking for? We are seeking a confident, trust-building, and development-oriented leader who builds relationships and gets people and organizations to develop together. You create direction and engagement, communicate clearly, and translate strategies into results. You are experienced in working in complex contexts where different perspectives need to be weighed together. As a leader, you are stable and unpretentious, have the courage to challenge established practices, and the persistence to drive change. Your interest in social development, education issues, and the labor market enables you to lead the assignment with both a holistic perspective and implementation capability. To be qualified for this position, you have: relevant academic education multiple years of experience in strategic leadership in a complex organization experience leading through other managers and responsibility for a larger operation experience leading change and development work experience working in a politically governed organization experience with operational, personnel, and financial responsibility strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have: experience from the education, labor market, or welfare sector experience in collaboration with the business community, educational actors, or other external parties.
