You will join the Municipal Director's management team and have overall responsibility for quality, results, finances, and long-term development. Qualifications To succeed in this assignment, we see that you have: Academic education that the employer considers relevant for the assignment. Several years of experience managing managers and leading management team work. Experience leading a politically governed organization. Experience in a management position within the education sector. Good knowledge of the Education Act and other relevant legislation within the department's area of responsibility. Documented experience in strategic leadership, operational development, and change management. Experience with systematic quality work in education or other complex operations. Budget responsibility and financial management experience in a larger organization. Documented experience with strategic and systematic work environment management (SAM). Experience with collaboration with, for example, labor unions, other departments, authorities, guardians, or external actors. Good understanding of municipal governance, democratic processes, and the civil servant role in public operations. Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. It is advantageous to have: Experience working closely with boards, committees, or political leadership. Experience leading operations in growth, transformation, or major structural change.
