Your role Strategic Maintenance is a section within development with a clear mission – to develop and improve working methods within operational safety and maintenance. As operational support to our production facilities, we work to create common working methods, efficient processes, and the right system support that contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable production. We are now seeking colleagues who want to drive this development forward. As operations and development manager, you are responsible for developing and managing our maintenance systems based on operational needs. You serve as the link between operations and IT and ensure that system support is developed in a structured and long-term manner. You will lead and coordinate the development of our maintenance systems together with operations and IT. The role is about creating structure, prioritizing development needs, and ensuring that our digital tools deliver maximum operational value. Your main responsibilities are to: prioritize and make decisions on issues and improvement suggestions from operations lead and coordinate operations and development work related to IFS ensure that operational needs are converted into functioning solutions in collaboration with IT follow up on compliance with established processes and initiate improvement measures serve as a clear and natural communication channel between IT and operations The role is both strategic and operational and gives you the opportunity to influence how working methods and system support are developed to contribute to safe, efficient, and sustainable production. What you bring We are seeking someone who thrives in a role with significant responsibility and many contact points. You are confident in making decisions, have a structured working approach, and the ability to analyze complex issues. You build trusting relationships, enjoy collaborating across organizational boundaries, and drive work forward even when conditions change. Requirements for the position: Technical education, preferably engineering degree, in maintenance, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or automation, or equivalent work experience Experience with maintenance and improvement work in heavy industry Good system understanding and experience working with digital tools, such as maintenance systems Good knowledge of Swedish and English, spoken and written B-class driver's license is required for all positions at LKAB Meritorious: Knowledge of maintenance processes and operational safety work Warm welcome with your application!
