JOB DUTIES The core of your assignment consists mainly of teaching. You are well versed in LGR 22 and have experience in planning, implementing, evaluating, documenting, and monitoring students' knowledge development. * Together with school leadership, serve as a process leader and lead development, analysis, and changes based on selected development areas through systematic quality work. * Be instrumental in the school's work toward more equitable instruction based on students' needs. * Support teachers in anchoring instruction in current research and proven experience. * Develop instructional materials at the school with the aim of improving the quality of teaching. * Lead discussions around teachers' reflections and development of their teaching, thereby enabling lasting and long-term changes at the school. Strengthen teachers' ability to use each other as resources in instruction. * Study colleagues' teaching methods with a scientific approach as a basis for pedagogical discussions. * Contribute to the development of pedagogical models that make students' learning visible. * Support colleagues and VFU supervisors during school-based training and serve as a mentor during induction periods. * Support colleagues who lack formal qualifications in the work of planning, implementation, and assessment. * Have the ability to mentor colleagues in acquiring alternative teaching methods. As a lead teacher at our school, your salary will be 10,000 kr/month in addition to your base salary. QUALIFICATIONS Certified teacher for grades F-6. You work in accordance with the curriculum and have experience with it. You are interested in developing students' abilities both academically and socially. You are not afraid of working in teams around students and sharing responsibility with colleagues. Four years of well-documented teaching work from your current employer or previous employer where good ability to improve students' academic results and strong interest in teaching has been demonstrated. In your personal letter, you should describe and argue with approximately 500 words, WHY you are suited for a lead teacher position and HOW you work to improve students' goal attainment. Base your response on: HOW you think, WHAT you do and WHY (e.g., in meeting with the student, classroom leadership, working methods), and HOW YOU HAVE CONTRIBUTED to development work in your school or in the activity. The assignment is for 2 years and the contract is valid for 1 year at a time (1+1). This means that lead teachers are not necessarily replaced after each year. To be employed as a lead teacher with us, you will receive a permanent employment as a teacher F-6. We are looking for a committed, loyal, and driven teacher and colleague who wants to lift, challenge, and inspire each student to reach their full potential. You find it easy to build good and sustainable relationships with both students, guardians, and colleagues. You have the ability to see beyond your classroom and have an overarching perspective on instruction. Furthermore, you are flexible in your approach and can adapt to the situation, while at the same time having good structure and being methodical in your work. Employment type: Permanent employment.
