Your new job
Råslättsskolan is seeking a lead teacher with a focus on after-school care who will be an important part of the school's development work to strengthen student goal achievement. You drive language and knowledge development work that complements curriculum-based instruction and are primarily responsible for teaching in the after-school care program.
In this role, you are a pedagogical role model and develop after-school care operations together with school leadership and other lead teachers. You lead collaborative learning, mentor new educators, and drive systematic quality improvement work supported by both experience and research. You also initiate projects that strengthen student learning and well-being.
You are part of a team that together creates an equitable after-school care program focused on student development. The position involves responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating stimulating and developmental activities. As a lead teacher, you also participate in professional networks with other lead teachers in the municipality.

Råslättsskolan is one of the municipality's larger F–6 schools, located in the Råslätt district in the southern part of Jönköping. In the surrounding area, there are excellent opportunities for activities such as forest and nature, swimming pool, sports field, ice skating rink, activity arena, and artificial grass football field. The school is multicultural and currently has approximately 500 students and around 85 employees. Together, we work to create a workplace where everyone thrives and develops. Here you will work with engaged and competent colleagues who focus on student learning and development. School operations are led by a rector and two assistant rectors.
At Råslättsskolan, we have five age-integrated after-school care units: grades F-2 Safiren, Rubinen, and Smaragden, and grades 3–6 Diamanten and Kristallen. We have approximately 180 students enrolled in after-school care. As an after-school care teacher, you meet our students throughout the school day, where after-school care's complementary instruction is an important part of the mission. As an after-school care teacher, your planning time is scheduled during school hours.

Your competence
We are looking for someone who is a certified teacher with a focus on after-school care and has at least four years of experience in the field. You have a strong pedagogical foundation and experience leading collaborative learning and development projects. You lead the team by setting good examples and you value and are receptive to the collective strength and knowledge of your colleagues.
Basic IT competence is a requirement, and you see digital tools as a natural part of your work. Your ability to create safe and educational environments for children is central, and you have clear leadership that inspires both colleagues and students.
