Responsibilities Do you want to help develop preschool education and make a difference for children every day? We are seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher who wants to take a leading role in pedagogical development work and, together with colleagues, create a safe, enjoyable, and educational high-quality preschool. As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will drive and develop the preschool's activities together with colleagues and the principal, using the curriculum's objectives as a foundation. Together, you will work to create a shared vision on teaching and learning processes. In this role, you lead and support colleagues in developing teaching based on scientific evidence and proven experience. You stay current on relevant research for preschools. You are also responsible for leading and developing forums for collegial learning based on the activities' needs and have expanded responsibility in systematic quality work. Your tasks include: - Leading development work that strengthens children's learning and development - Being a role model in teaching and education - Following up, analyzing, and developing teaching together with the team - Ensuring that teaching maintains high and equal quality As a Lead Preschool Teacher, you will conduct teaching with at least 50% of your time in child groups to develop instruction. You will be employed at Bärbyvägen 24, where you will also teach in child groups, but the Lead Preschool Teacher assignment also encompasses Brunstorpsvägen 41. Our preschools are located in a rural setting close to nature, which is a natural part of children's daily lives. Our activities are characterized by safety, participation, and curiosity, where children's interests shape our learning environments and teaching. Our pedagogy is clearly Reggio Emilia-inspired, with Bärbyvägen having extensive experience and Brunstorpsvägen in an exciting development phase where this pedagogy is progressively strengthened. Qualifications We are seeking you as a certified preschool teacher with at least six years of well-documented work experience teaching in preschool. You can demonstrate your experience from one or more positions through documentation. You have excellent ability to systematically and continuously follow up, analyze, and develop teaching so that it promotes children's learning and development. You actively engage in systematic quality work and drive the preschool's development toward set goals in collaboration with colleagues and the principal. You contribute knowledge of research and proven experience and have the ability to apply theory to practice. You lead collegial learning and support and challenge colleagues from a scientific perspective. You have well-developed analytical skills and create engagement and good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. You see opportunities for change that promote educational and teaching development. It is advantageous if you have achieved merit level 2 in the professional development program or have begun taking courses and/or participated in merit-based practice-oriented research to merit level two. It is also advantageous if you have previous experience working with Reggio Emilia-inspired approaches, preferably as a pedagogista, particularly related to learning environments, children's exploration, pedagogical documentation, and project-based methods. We welcome experience with strength-based and systems-theoretical approaches that can contribute to our collaborative work. Previous experience with pedagogical development assignments, coaching, or process leadership is also a significant advantage.
