Then this role might be for you! As a Senior Social Worker, you work in close collaboration with other senior social workers and unit managers; together you form the unit's management team. You, along with two other senior social workers, lead and distribute the daily work and hold responsibility for the operational work at your unit. The role involves both group work and individual assignments that you are responsible for and drive forward. We are looking for a Senior Social Worker for the Adults, Investigation and Follow-up Department. The unit currently consists of two groups. One is IFO, which serves adults over 20 years old living in homelessness due to complex issues, harmful substance use and addiction, comorbidity, and/or other psychosocial issues such as criminality. The other is social psychiatry, which works with adults over 20 years old who, as a result of psychiatric issues, experience significant difficulties performing activities in various life areas and therefore need support. As a Senior Social Worker, you provide case supervision and ensure that the handling process complies with applicable legislation, regulations, and governing documents. You work based on the delegation order and are a decision-maker within its scope. Based on the new Social Services Act, we see that we need to focus on becoming confident in meeting target groups, building relationships, and making clients active participants and co-creators of their own care plans. The unit has ongoing development work aimed at finding more efficient and new ways of collaboration and case handling. This may result in changes to the unit's working methods, where you as a Senior Social Worker have an important role in driving, supporting, guiding, and coaching staff in this development work. An important part of your assignment includes responsibility for introducing new employees and supporting their development in the authority role. The role also includes conducting training, establishing and updating necessary procedures. Beyond work at the unit, you are also part of a larger context where you have close collaboration with other units and departments, as well as cooperation with external parties. Your Workplace We are now seeking an additional Senior Social Worker for the Investigation and Follow-up Unit 2, which consists of two groups. Within the IFO group, there is currently a unit manager, a senior social worker, and 13 employees working as social workers. Within the SP group, there is also a unit manager, a senior social worker, and approximately 13 employees working as case managers. You will primarily report to the IFO unit manager, but since your assignment spans both groups, close collaboration with the SP unit manager and the other senior social workers is required. The unit also works closely with the LSS unit and the Housing Unit, which are also part of the Adult Department. The Adult Department also includes a number of service operations and contracted services, which among other things offer support services such as various forms of housing support, supported housing, and housing with special support within social psychiatry, harmful substance use and addiction, and homelessness. Working hours are scheduled on weekdays 07:50-17:00 with flexible working hours, and 07:50-16:00 during summer. Remote work is possible by agreement when deemed appropriate based on operational needs and personal circumstances. The workplace is located in newly renovated premises at Drottninggatan 45. About You We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or a bachelor's degree in behavioral science that the employer deems equivalent, with a course in social law and a course or practical experience in social work. We require that you have several years of experience in authority functions and that you have experience within IFO/SP (Social Services Act and LVM). Experience in authority functions within housing-related social issues and/or LSS is a merit. Previous experience in a role as Senior Social Worker, unit coordinator, or group leader is a merit. The work involves many contact points both internally and externally as well as extensive documentation; therefore, we require very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Since work-related travel may occur, we consider a driver's license to be a merit. We require that you have documentation experience and very good knowledge of the Social Services Act, LVM, and relevant sosfs:ar. Experience with the Treserva management system is a merit.
