Are you an experienced preschool teacher who wants to combine teaching in a classroom setting with a developmental role at the facility level? At Lillängens Preschool, we are now looking for a lead preschool teacher who wants to help strengthen the quality of instruction with a special focus on language development and systematic quality improvement work.

Your Tasks
You combine work in the classroom with expanded responsibility for pedagogical development work. Approximately 80 percent of your time you work in the classroom and the remaining 20 percent is devoted to a strategic assignment focusing on organization, collegial learning, and teaching quality.
Lillängens Preschool is part of an initiative for language-developing working methods. Together with colleagues and a language development specialist, you work to develop instruction through a structured approach based on action research.
Your assignment includes leading and developing systematic quality improvement work and driving collegial learning. You lead reflections, ask challenging questions, and contribute to structure in the planning, implementation, and follow-up of instruction. You provide support both to your own team and to other colleagues at the preschool and help create continuity and direction in the development work. You also participate in a pedagogical development group and collaborate with other preschools in the area.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher with at least four years of experience as a preschool teacher. You have a strong commitment to instruction and development and thrive in a role where you lead others through dialogue, reflection, and clarity. Through your working style, you model good instruction, communication, and a professional approach.
You are confident in your profession and have the ability to both support and challenge your colleagues. You work in a structured manner and can persevere even when circumstances change or when daily life is complex. You have a good understanding of systematic quality improvement work and preferably experience leading colleagues in pedagogical work.
It is a merit if you have previously worked with language development methods or if you have further education in pedagogical leadership, mentoring, or similar.

Other Information
Since the posting occurs during vacation period, our availability is limited during parts of the posting period. The responsible recruiter is available to answer questions during weeks 29 and 32.
The position is a permanent employment as a preschool teacher. The assignment as lead preschool teacher is time-limited to two years and provides a salary increase of 5,000 kronor per month.
Before you can be hired, you need to provide a valid criminal record check from the police.
During the interview, you need to prove your citizenship. You can do this with a passport or personal identification document together with valid ID. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EES, or Switzerland, you must provide proof that you have a valid work permit or are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit. Employment can only take place after verification of work permit, which is required according to the Aliens Ordinance.
