Your position will be primarily based at Kanonens Preschool in Åkers Styckebruk, but one day per week you will be released to work across our other preschools, with our other lead preschool teachers, and with management. You may receive assignments to lead network meetings, development groups, or other targeted professional development. In addition, you may receive assignments to work comprehensively on professional development initiatives in Strängnäs Municipality. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a lead preschool teacher, you will have an important role in developing education and creating the best conditions for children's learning, development, and well-being. You contribute to a positive and inspiring educational environment where care, education, and learning form a whole, with children's curiosity, participation, and exploration at the center. You are responsible for leading and developing pedagogical work toward the organization's goals. Systematic quality work is a natural part of your assignment, where you work with colleagues to follow up, analyze, and develop education. Through observation, documentation, and reflection, you make children's learning processes visible and help take instruction to the next level. We want to create a preschool where children have the opportunity to explore, investigate, and test their ideas in permissive and challenging learning environments. You support children's learning by awakening curiosity, asking challenging questions, and creating conditions for independent thinking and creative problem-solving. As a lead preschool teacher, you are also an important part of the organization's management team. You lead and inspire colleagues in pedagogical development work, support systematic quality work, contribute to the development of learning environments, and lead network meetings and pedagogical forums. Through your commitment, initiative, and ability to create participation, you contribute to a learning organization where both children and adults develop. We offer you: • one day per week to work comprehensively across the unit • reflection time—individual and with work teams, totaling 3.5 hours per week • two planning days per year • two professional development days per year • complimentary pedagogical meals • wellness allowance of 3,000 kr • work clothes QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has/is: • a certified preschool teacher. • at least four years of experience working as a preschool teacher in a preschool. • strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written. • experienced in using IT as a support in your work. • a B-class driver's license.
