JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We continue to develop and strengthen our operations and are now expanding the Family Foster Care Unit, an authority with two senior child welfare secretaries. You will become part of our work team consisting of a unit manager, three senior and 17 child welfare secretaries, and our administrative support. Our workplace is centrally located, and we have close collaboration with the Family Foster Care Unit, Support.
The role includes serving as acting unit manager when needed. As a senior child welfare secretary, you will be offered supervision together with other senior social workers within the Individual, Family and Work Department. You will also receive supervision at the unit.
Your responsibilities include:
• Lead and distribute work.
• Delegate tasks and provide advice, support, and opportunities for colleagues' development.
• Work to ensure competence and quality in operations.
• Responsible for case reviews and case distribution.
• Provide support and guidance in complex matters.
• Work closely with the unit manager and other senior child welfare secretaries, participate in the unit's management team.
• As a senior child welfare secretary, you typically do not handle your own cases.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has:
• A degree in Social Work (Socionomexamen).
• Class B driver's license for manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with government authority duties within the social services framework for the target group of children and young people in foster care.
It is a merit for the position if you have previous experience in management within the target group of children and young people in foster care.

Interviews will take place from week 34 onwards.
For this position, an extract from the police criminal record is required. This will only be requested from the final candidate in the last stage of the recruitment process.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Permanent, start date: According to agreement.
Work hours: Daytime.
