We offer meaningful, stimulating, and important educational work at our schools. Hällsboskolan Kungsholmen in Stockholm serves students with severe language disorders from preschool through grade 10. Our instruction focuses on language and communication. The goal is for students to have the conditions to reach learning objectives, be active and participatory in various social settings, and develop as individuals. We offer housing for students who cannot commute to school daily. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for teachers with certification to teach in grades F-4 (preschool through grade 4). Then you are one of the teachers we need in our operations. At Hällsboskolan, we work together and in close collaboration in so-called grade level teams led by team leaders. We use an interdisciplinary, thematic approach that we believe will benefit our students in their knowledge development. At Hällsboskolan, all instruction is based on the special school ordinance and the primary or adapted primary school curriculum. Instruction, environment, and communication are adapted to each student's needs. As a teacher with us, you work with pedagogical assessment, documentation, adaptation of the learning environment, follow-up, analysis, and evaluation. Work with us requires close collaboration with students' guardians, colleagues, and other external actors who are important for students' health and development. You will also have support from special educators, IT pedagogues, counselors, psychologists, school nurses, and speech-language pathologists. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who: • Have teacher training with certification to teach in preschool or equivalent • Have teacher training with certification to teach in grades 1-4 It is meritorious if you: • Have experience working with students with severe language disorders • Have competence in NPF • Have competence in TAKK • Have experience in early literacy and language development We are looking for someone who can take great responsibility from a student perspective, plan your own work long-term, and work independently. We are looking for someone who is skilled at communicating and collaborating with others in your team and with other colleagues at the school. We also place great importance on qualities such as personal maturity, integrity, and the ability to contribute to developing an evolving operation. Your ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish is an important part of the students' instruction. Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
