Ytterharnäs Preschool has 4 departments—Nyckelpigan, Humlan, Fjärilen, and Trollsländan—and we currently work with age-based grouping. WORK DUTIES Are you a pedagogically-focused preschool teacher who wants to contribute to children's learning and development? We are looking for an engaged, positive, and driven preschool teacher who is passionate about your mission and about pedagogical development work. Your work duties include: • Together with your colleagues in the work team, having primary responsibility for education at the preschool. • Planning and leading instruction both independently and in collaboration with colleagues. • Documenting and evaluating instruction. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • A degree from a preschool teacher program and preschool teacher certification with the authority to teach in preschool and preschool class. • Familiarity with and knowledge of the preschool curriculum. • Good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is meritorious if you have: • Experience with AAC and/or TAKK. • Experience with children in need of special support. • Experience in leading colleagues and individuals in instruction. To succeed in the role of preschool teacher, you have: • The ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve results in the best way possible. • An unpretentious approach to collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians. • The ability to lead and motivate children and help them thrive and feel good. You are organized and plan your work well. You are also skilled at creating open dialogue and adapting your language to the current situation. Furthermore, you have a good ability to help children feel a sense of belonging and inclusion at the preschool. • You are communicative and engaged and have the ability to create good, secure relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you provide an extract from the criminal record register for work within the school system. You can order the criminal record register on the police website. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis. Employment type: Permanent employment.
