Position Description
As a hourly employee in preschool, you work to create a safe, educational, and stimulating environment for children. Tasks may include assisting with play and educational activities, supporting children in their social development, helping with meals and outdoor time, and contributing to children's care and safety throughout the day. You will collaborate with permanent staff and may work in different departments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Support children in play, learning, and daily activities.
Assist with meals, dressing, and outdoor activities.
Contribute to a safe and secure environment for children.
Collaborate with educators and other staff.
Be a positive and present adult in the children's daily lives.
As a hourly employee in preschool, you help with daily work involving children's care, development, and well-being, and support permanent staff as needed.
Qualifications
Preschool teacher degree with credentials or childcare training. Experience is a merit.
Terms
A criminal background check within the school system must be provided, as well as a drug test in connection with employment.
