Your Responsibilities As a preschool teacher with us, you have overall pedagogical responsibility. In your role, you will: Lead and distribute pedagogical work within your team and contribute to inspiring collegial learning. Plan, teach, document, and evaluate activities together with your colleagues, based on Lpfö 18 (revised 2025) and other governing documents. Promote each child's development and learning by building on their interests, experiences, and specific needs. Foster curiosity and a love of learning, both in planned pedagogical activities and in spontaneous moments throughout the day. Collaborate closely with colleagues and parents, and when needed, maintain contact with external partners regarding the child. Your Workplace The Tallboda/Ekängen area comprises seven preschools: Gränsliden 8, Tomatvägen 14, Passadvindsvägen 2, Grönhögsvägen 58-60, Fönvindsvägen 12, Hästhagsvägen 8, and Linsvägen 5. At all our preschools, we work using a project-based approach where projects are driven based on children's interests and the preschool's governing documents. Our educators are present, and we explore and learn together with the children. The focus is on the learning process and joyful learning, not just the outcome. In daily activities, we emphasize language and mathematics development. We also work systematically with respect, communication, and feedback to promote a good work environment for both children and staff. As an employee with us, you become part of a larger community. We have joint staff meetings where personnel from multiple preschools meet for collaboration and experience sharing. Within Förskolor Ekängen/Tallboda, we have access to a senior preschool teacher, special educator, and quality coordinator who support our work. The area's assistant principals also visit the facilities once a week to provide pedagogical support where needed. To ensure every child can be their best, we work with smaller groups. Our goal is for all children at our preschools to be in a fun, safe, and educational environment. We have large playgrounds that encourage both play and learning. The area is also geographically located near forest and water, providing rich opportunities for nature experiences and exploration. This recruitment is for three positions within the Tallboda/Ekängen area. The specific preschool placement from among the area's seven units will be communicated upon job assignment and start date, based on the facility's needs at that time. What We're Looking For First and foremost, we're looking for someone with preschool teacher certification. Second, we're looking for someone with a preschool teacher education certificate. Alternatively, you are nearing the end of your preschool teacher training. You must have experience working with children in curriculum-based preschools through internships, employment, or volunteer work. It's a merit if you have worked at least one year in a curriculum-based preschool where you worked with planning and teaching based on the curriculum. You have good communicative skills, both spoken and written, in Swedish. This is necessary because according to the curriculum (Lpfö18), you must organize and carry out work so that the child receives support in their language and communication development. You are responsible for ensuring that each child can use the Swedish language in a rich and nuanced way. In your role as a preschool teacher, you build good relationships and collaborate well with children, colleagues, parents, and other contacts in society that are part of your professional role. You have a good understanding of people's differences and approach them in a responsive way in teaching and the preschool's daily activities. You lead work with both children and colleagues through motivation, commitment, and participation. The role also involves working with your colleagues on current goals and quality standards for the preschool. In this recruitment process, we use language tests in the selection.
