Welcome to Storfjället! We are looking for a full-time preschool teacher with a start date as soon as possible for a temporary position during the school year 26/27. Storfjället is a newly built preschool in Torvalla that opened in January 2025. The preschool has seven departments, six of which have mixed-age groups and one department for the oldest children. We have a fantastic outdoor environment divided into different zones to inspire and challenge children based on their interests and development. Adjacent to the preschool are forest, nature, ski trails and beautiful walking paths. Your future colleagues are experienced, competent and engaged. Your New Job We are looking for you as a qualified preschool teacher for Storfjället preschool. You will be part of a team where you together plan and are responsible for children's education and development. We believe that all children can and want to learn, and that they should be in an environment where they have the opportunity to use and develop their competence. You should actively work to create a well-balanced and developmental education for children according to Lpfö18. You are expected to develop trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You create curiosity and the desire to learn through planned activities as well as spontaneous opportunities. Typical Work Tasks Plan and carry out activities based on the curriculum. Develop pedagogical content that inspires development and learning, while stimulating and challenging children's interests, curiosity and attention. Provide each child with safe care and promote all children's development and learning. Create learning opportunities based on children's needs and interests, so that all children can develop according to their abilities and circumstances. As a preschool teacher, you will work together with your colleagues to plan, teach, document and evaluate the content of the activities. We Are Looking for You... You create good relationships and collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role. Your Competence Requirements You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and can implement them in daily work. Meritorious Educated and licensed preschool teacher. Previous experience in preschool.
