About the Position
We are now looking for two preschool teachers for Rosenbergs förskola in Tidaholm Municipality.
With us, the child is always in focus and we strive for a safe, fun, and educational preschool every day. We achieve this by prioritizing forums for collegial learning and developing stimulating learning environments both indoors and outdoors. All preschools in the municipality work according to Helen Jenvé's theories and actively capture children's influence and participation in the activities. We also offer support functions in the form of special educators, speech therapists, and our multidisciplinary team "TSI" (Early Support Interventions).
A day at preschool is filled with different interactions between children and educators. Every meeting is meaningful and part of the child's safety, development, and learning. In your role, you will be part of creating a safe, educational, and joyful preschool for everyone. Together with your colleagues, you will take special responsibility for developing education according to the Curriculum. Currently, there is a municipality-wide development initiative in language "Language-Developing Methods in Preschool."
Learning processes are made visible through pedagogical documentation and you have a special responsibility in this work. You work actively and systematically in your role to create stimulating and developing learning environments. This is made possible through shared collegial reflections where we meet and preserve each other's thoughts, contributing to professional growth.
As a preschool teacher, the municipality offers you, among other things, six hours of planning time per week, free pedagogical meals prepared on-site, work clothes, wellness contributions, and opportunities for professional development. If you are a newly certified preschool teacher, you will also be offered a mentor to help you transition into your professional role.
Qualifications
We want you to be a preschool teacher with preschool teacher certification and to have previous experience working in preschool. Since communication and documentation are important parts of the work, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You are well familiar with preschool's governing documents and enjoy taking on challenges. You are initiative-taking, driven, and independent. Furthermore, you see the importance of creating good relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. We therefore expect you as a preschool teacher to have a good approach to children, guardians, and colleagues characterized by belief in everyone's equal worth and that all can and will succeed. You are positive, spread joy, and show work commitment.
You always work with the child's best interests in focus. Knowledge and participation are key principles in our teaching, and we offer children "New discoveries—every day!" This means that as a preschool teacher, you are a co-exploring adult who listens to children's interests and needs.
You demonstrate good ability to understand and implement the preschool's mission in practice. You have the ability to work together with others to accomplish tasks and reach goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, as well as taking special responsibility for education, you contribute to a respectful work climate.
