Description In January 2027, Kungälvs Municipality will open a new open preschool in Komarken. The operation will be part of the new family center and conducted in newly renovated, modern, and welcoming facilities. The open preschool will be an important part of the family center's work to offer early support, promote children's development, and strengthen family networks. Through a welcoming and professional approach, you create a safe meeting place where relationships, participation, and community are in focus. You support, encourage, and strengthen guardians in their parenting, as well as contribute to promoting children's development, learning, interaction, attachment, and language development. You serve as a positive role model and actively contribute to building trusting relationships with the families who visit the operation. You collaborate closely with other activities within the family center and with other actors such as child health care, library, and other community services to provide families with coordinated support. The position also includes administrative tasks such as purchasing and ordering materials, cash accounting and other communication channels, as well as documentation and planning related to the operation. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed preschool teacher. Several years of experience working as a preschool teacher. Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. Good digital competence and experience using digital tools for documentation, communication, and administration. Experience in planning, implementing, and following up on educational activities. Experience collaborating with guardians and other professionals. Experience leading or conducting conversations with guardians, including difficult conversations. Knowledge of child development, attachment, interaction, and language development. Experience with or knowledge of intercultural work and meeting families with different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Meritorious: Experience in parental support work or leading parental support training. Experience collaborating with child health care, social services, or other operations serving children and families. Great weight is placed on personal qualities.
