In your role as an educator at our preschools, you will create safe, engaging, and educational environments where children have opportunities for influence and participation. You build on children's experiences, thoughts, and ideas and plan teaching based on the preschool's goals. You nurture children's creativity and work as a collaborative educator with relational learning as your foundation. The work involves exploring, investigating, and creating learning experiences in everyday situations together with the children. You observe, document, and reflect on teaching to follow children's learning and develop the educational program. You collaborate with colleagues and families and contribute to a preschool where learning, participation, and democracy are central. As a preschool teacher, you are also responsible for planning, following up on, and developing teaching based on the preschool's curriculum goals. Qualifications We are looking for a certified preschool teacher with previous experience working as a preschool teacher. For this position, it is advantageous if you have knowledge and experience in systematic quality work. You also need strong knowledge and experience working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). In addition to the above, we want you to: Have a clear focus on the mission and a strong ability to lead both children and colleagues. Be curious, engaged, and have good collaboration skills. Be flexible with good communication skills and drive both the preschool's and your own development forward based on our goals and guidelines. Have a clear focus on children's learning and base your planning on a belief in the competent child. Be aware of the importance of pedagogical documentation and be well acquainted with digital tools. See reflection in pedagogical leadership as a necessity. Be active in developing a stimulating, joyful, and creative learning environment and have methods and strategies to see and meet each child's need for challenge.
