The Education Division has over 1,900 employees, and together we work to provide children, youth, and adults with quality education. We are responsible for 31 preschools, 17 primary schools, adapted primary school, Nyköping Gymnasium, adapted gymnasium, and adult education at Campus Nyköping. Nyköping is developing rapidly with unprecedented construction, more people choosing to move here, and our school organization is growing. We are now seeking preschool teachers for the municipality's preschools. In Nyköping's preschools, we have a shared pedagogical approach with clear positions on our education. Our vision is to create the best preschool for children—an equitable preschool of high quality. This places high demands on us as an employer, where our educators' participation and co-creation are crucial to our success. An important prerequisite for doing good work is the work environment—all preschools have health coordinators who focus on health-promoting factors and provide positive inspiration in the workplace. Collaborative learning is a driving force in our development work, and we have a municipal doctoral candidate who focuses on knowledge dissemination and contributes to competency development in our organization. The preschools are divided into four areas, each consisting of 6–10 preschools. We have preschool bikes that give children unique opportunities to explore and learn throughout Nyköping and the surrounding area. Our creative recycling center, Nybygget, is a major asset and strongly contributes to creative teaching and sustainable development. 6 position(s). DUTIES We expect you to: - Have the ability to build good relationships with children, guardians, colleagues, and others you meet in your professional role. - Be thoroughly familiar with the preschool curriculum and other relevant governing documents, and take the responsibility described in these documents. - Lead education according to the governing documents toward established goals. - Ensure that education is conducted in accordance with the curriculum goals and that care, development, and learning form a unified whole in education. Education planning is based on curriculum goals and on the experiences and knowledge children have previously acquired. - Plan and analyze how education challenges and stimulates children's development and learning. - Stay updated on current research and ensure that the preschool is based on scientific foundation and proven experience. - Ensure that the work team together plans, follows up, evaluates, and develops education in relation to the curriculum and each child's development and learning. QUALIFICATIONS Preschool Teacher degree. As of December 1, 2013, certification is required for permanent employment. Attach your certification to your application. Salary form: Monthly salary.
