Description Klasmossens Preschool, together with Karlavagnen and Dirigentens Preschool, operates based on a shared pedagogical approach developed to support educators' conditions for conducting goal-oriented instruction. This method has contributed to increased child participation and reduced stress among educators. Educators work in large teams with overstaffing so substitute teachers are not needed in instruction. Educators are responsible for their own learning environment with documentation responsibility for the goal-oriented process, which is analyzed together with colleagues during shared reflection time. This approach enables educators to work with children in smaller groups for much of the day. An important resource in the organization is the outdoor educators, who work with the younger children in the mornings and the older children in the afternoons. We are now seeking a substitute preschool teacher from October 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027. Duties As a preschool teacher, you have pedagogical responsibility for leading instruction in accordance with the Curriculum for Preschool (Lpfö 18, revised 2025). You plan, implement, and follow up on instruction with a focus on children's safety, development, and learning. You create learning environments that are safe, stimulating, and accessible for all children. An important part of the role is to document and analyze instruction as part of systematic quality work. You promote democratic values and children's rights and work toward equity and inclusion. Together with colleagues and guardians, you create a comprehensive approach to children's learning and actively contribute to developing the organization. Qualifications We are seeking you if you are a certified preschool teacher or are awaiting your certification. As a person, you take responsibility for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on the preschool's governing documents. You work purposefully and in an organized manner, have the ability to create clear structure in pedagogical work, and communicate clearly and attentively with children, guardians, and colleagues. You actively contribute to the organization's development by collaborating with colleagues, sharing knowledge, and together finding solutions that benefit children's learning and development. At the same time, you have the ability to independently drive your work forward and use imagination and innovation to create inspiring learning environments and teaching situations that spark children's curiosity and desire to learn.
