You will also be a problem-solver, explorer, shelter-builder, conflict manager, inspirator, storyteller and expert at finding lost mittens. We laugh a lot. We learn a lot. The Department of Children and Education has approximately 800 employees. The department's activities span the entire municipality and include preschool, elementary school grades F-9, adapted elementary school, after-school programs, food service and facility maintenance, native language instruction, and library services. Your qualifications To be a candidate for this position, you must have: a preschool teacher credential good knowledge of preschool curriculum and regulations and the ability to implement them in pedagogical work ability to plan, implement, document and follow up on instruction based on curriculum goals experience with pedagogical documentation and systematic quality improvement work a professional approach where the child's best interests, participation and influence are the starting points good collaboration skills and ability to create secure and positive relationships with children, guardians and colleagues digital competence and ability to use digital tools to support instruction and documentation It is a merit if you have: experience with pedagogical development work experience working with aesthetic learning processes training or experience in TAKK, AKK and low-affect interactions We're looking for someone who is confident in your professional role and who takes responsibility for developing education and instruction.
