We have a colleague who is starting studies and are now seeking a certified preschool teacher for a temporary position at Holmängens Preschool. Holmängens Preschool is a newly built preschool located in the same building as Holmängens School. The preschool consists of four departments and has capacity for approximately 90 children.

Work Responsibilities
As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, following up on, and developing education in accordance with the Swedish Preschool Curriculum (Lpfö 18). You create conditions for children's development, learning, and well-being through conscious pedagogical work where teaching, play, and care form a unified whole.
You will be part of a work team together with a preschool teacher and a childcare provider. We simultaneously view the entire preschool as a shared work team where collaboration, flexibility, and shared responsibility for all children are integral parts of the role. Together, we create a safe, developmental, and educational environment for the children.
Qualifications
We are seeking a certified preschool teacher who is well-versed in the preschool curriculum and mission. You have strong commitment to children's development and learning and view relationships as a foundation for pedagogical quality.
As a person, you are confident, responsible, and proactive. You have strong ability to collaborate, communicate, and build trusting relationships with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues. You are a present and reflective educator who contributes to the development of teaching and systematic quality improvement work. We value your positive approach, ability to see opportunities in cross-departmental collaboration, and willingness to take shared responsibility for the entire preschool's operations.
Terms
Employment Type: Temporary contract until June 11, 2027
Extent: 100%
Start Date: September 1, 2026 or by agreement.
