JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for engaged and inspiring preschool teachers who are passionate about developing children's learning, creativity, and social interaction. As a preschool teacher with us, you will help create a safe, fun, and educational preschool environment. In your role, you will teach children ages 1-5 years, where you lead the pedagogical work and are responsible for systematic quality assurance. Together with your work team, you will actively drive and contribute to the continuous development of education. You will become an important part of an engaged team that together plans education based on children's interests, experiences, and abilities in accordance with the curriculum's objectives. We prioritize children's right to equitable preschool education, where each child meets a professional educator who offers quality instruction in a stimulating learning environment. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher degree and licensure, or is fully trained but awaiting licensure. You are familiar with and have knowledge of the preschool curriculum and have good skills with digital tools. For this position, you must have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Experience with multilingualism is considered a merit. It is meriting if you have special education knowledge where you have experience meeting children with support needs, for example within NPF. As a person, you have the ability to explain in a clear, engaging, and adapted way so that children with different backgrounds can understand, develop, and feel motivated. You use varied methods, create structure, and build a safe learning environment where children dare to participate and ask questions. You show interest and understanding for others, you enjoy working in groups, and you are happy to contribute to a good atmosphere in your work team. Tierp municipality is part of the Finnish administrative area. If, in addition to our other competency requirements, you also speak Finnish, this could be a merit.
