Preschool Triangeln is part of the Northern Preschool Area, which consists of preschools in By, Fors, and Horndal. Preschool Triangeln has four departments. Two departments for ages 1–3 and two for ages 3–6 where trained preschool teachers and childcare assistants work. The departments with older children collaborate to some extent with each other through cross-age groups one day a week. The preschool is located in central Fors and has a varied outdoor area with forest, grass areas, asphalt, and access to both structured and unstructured materials. 1 position(s). Duties As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for ensuring that work is conducted in accordance with our governing documents. You shall work to ensure that education provides each child with the opportunity to develop based on their own abilities. This means you must plan, implement, follow up, evaluate, analyze, and document the preschool's activities so that development occurs. You are present and actively playing with the children. You shall be close to the child at the child's level, which requires that you can switch between sitting on the floor and quickly being on your feet again. You have daily meetings/contact with guardians, you conduct development conversations, and are responsible for conducting parent meetings. You write and document education digitally. You have colleagues both in your work team, at the preschool, and in the preschool area. You collaborate, reflect, and exchange experiences with each other in various forums. You follow the routines, rules, expectations, and agreements that exist. You have a good approach and treat everyone respectfully. Qualifications You have a preschool teacher education with corresponding certification. You should have basic ability to handle digital tools such as computers, tablets, smartphones, projectors, etc. You should be able to write/save/retrieve documents, use email, search for information, have knowledge of image editing, fill in templates, retrieve and store information in various systems. It is desirable that you have training in Guiding Interaction Step 1 and knowledge about diabetes. You should understand how children learn and that their abilities are different, and therefore require that you can adapt to their differences. You are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. You can see relationships in their proper perspective and distinguish between the personal and the professional. You adapt your approach to the situation at hand. You can collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible manner. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive way without becoming emotional. You need to be able to see the operations from a holistic perspective, understand your role, act, and make decisions that are best for the organization. As a preschool teacher, you should be able to plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient manner and adhere to the schedule and time frames that exist. You should have good judgment and be able to prioritize correctly. Your verbal and written communication should be clear and well-formulated in Swedish. You should be able to analyze and read more complex texts. You should be able to speak to both small and large groups but also be able to listen and receive what others communicate. You are service-oriented and calm, attentive and accommodating in your interactions. You have interest, will, and ability to help others, you can work independently and take responsibility for your tasks. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Start date: 2026-09-14.
