Read more about what it is like to work in preschool: https://gallivare.se/lararjobb Work Tasks As a preschool teacher, you are part of a work team and are responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating the education offered to the children. You collaborate with the work team and you offer the children fun and educational teaching and education. As a preschool teacher, you have special responsibility for leading goal-driven processes and in education ensuring that: care, development and learning form a whole, planning and implementation are based on the curriculum and on the knowledge and experiences that children have previously acquired, spontaneously occurring activities and interests, everyday activities and routines at the preschool become part of the education, and develop pedagogical content and environments that inspire development and learning and that challenge and stimulate children's interest and curiosity and hold their attention. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher. It is important: that you are well familiar with the curriculum (Lpfö18), that you are a confident and clear leader, take initiative, are positive and have confidence in children's different competencies, that you have knowledge of and use various learning tools, that you have trusting relationships with children and guardians and that you have good collaboration skills, that you use pedagogical conversations and pedagogical documentation in your work, that you use visual support and TAKK (signs as alternative and supplementary communication), that you develop and drive the preschool forward according to the curriculum. Very good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing is a prerequisite for the position. Great weight will be placed on personal qualities and personal suitability. Within the framework of the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sámi, Meänkieli and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit in an application for employment in Gällivare Municipality.
