JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a preschool teacher, you are responsible, together with your work team, for planning, implementing, documenting, following up, and developing instruction in accordance with the preschool's curriculum.
Our vision is that preschool shall be children's arena where we together develop and create new knowledge, where children's right to participate in building a hopeful and sustainable future is the foundation of the democratic work that guides us in our preschools.
This means you draw on children's experiences, questions, and initiatives as a starting point for instruction. You work to ensure that children are given real opportunities to participate and have influence in their education, and you contribute to developing a working method where exploration, communication, and meaning-making are central.
You help create accessible, inclusive, stimulating, and exploratory learning environments that enable children's different ways of expressing themselves and participating in shared learning processes. In instruction, different knowledge areas and perspectives are integrated to create context and deeper understanding.
Your responsibilities include leading and developing instruction, working with pedagogical documentation as a basis for analysis and continued development, and actively contributing to systematic quality work. You collaborate with colleagues and guardians and participate in collegial learning to strengthen the quality and equivalence of education.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a certified preschool teacher. Applicants with other pedagogical education that the employer deems equivalent may also be considered for fixed-term employment.
You have good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish. You have good knowledge of the preschool curriculum and mission, and the ability to implement this in your instruction.
You use digital tools in instruction in a conscious and professional way to document, communicate, and deepen and broaden teaching.
You use pedagogical documentation as a tool in planning, implementation, follow-up, and analysis of instruction, where children's experiences, questions, and interests are valued.

You collaborate with children, colleagues, and guardians in a professional and respectful manner and work toward children's participation and influence in instruction.
You create trusting relationships and meet children and adults with attentiveness and respect.
You actively contribute to your work team and participate in collegial learning to develop instruction.
You take responsibility for the quality of instruction and actively contribute to the development of operations.
You reflect on and analyze instruction and develop it based on children's experiences, questions, and interests.
You plan, implement, and develop instruction and create conditions for children's exploration, communication, and meaning-making. You have experience developing learning environments and with project-based or exploratory working methods.
You have experience communicating and creating conditions for dialogue, participation, and shared meaning-making. You also have experience with pedagogical documentation and systematic quality work.
It is meritorious if you have experience working as a preschool teacher.
You have experience with language-promoting working methods and knowledge of education for sustainable development.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-10.
