We are now seeking a preschool teacher for a temporary position from September 2026 through June 2027 at Borgvik Preschool. Borgvik Preschool is located just outside central Grums and consists of one section with children aged 1–5 years. Here you work together with a preschool teacher and a childcare assistant in a team with close collaboration in daily work. All meals are prepared on-site by our food and facilities manager. WORK TASKS As a preschool teacher, your assignment includes, among other things: • Plan, implement, follow up and evaluate teaching in accordance with the preschool curriculum. • Adapt education and use different communication channels to meet all children's needs • Collaborate with a special education teacher in pedagogical work. • Create a stimulating, safe and educational environment. • Together with the team, contribute to the development of activities and learning environments based on the curriculum. • Work systematically with documentation, observation, reflection and analysis with support from the documentation tool Tyra. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher. A B driver's license and access to your own car are requirements. You have a good ability to see and meet children's different needs based on their individual circumstances. You value good conversation highly in your interactions with children, within the team and in contact with guardians. Commitment to the task and a desire to develop in your professional role together with colleagues are important parts. You thrive in an activity characterized by responsibility, flexibility and cooperation. As a person you are attentive, humble and secure in your professional role with a professional approach. You remain calm even in situations that require flexibility and structure. In our activities, everyone who is to be employed to work with children and young people must, according to law (2000:873), present a valid extract from the criminal record register (work in schools and preschools).
