Vadstena has three municipal preschools: Omma (2019), Blanka (2015), and Gullvivan, which is an older preschool in the town center. We are now looking for a temporary preschool teacher at Blanka. The preschool's curriculum and our guiding principles—safe, well-being children with a desire to learn—form the foundation of our work together with the children, and we place great emphasis on all staff being well acquainted with our systematic quality work. Duties As a preschool teacher at Blanka, you work in a team together with other preschool teachers and childcare assistants. Together with your team, you plan, implement, document, and evaluate work based on the goals and intentions of the curriculum documents. Children's desire to learn, development, and sense of security are in focus, and the pedagogical work is based on a project-based approach where children's processes are our driving force. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher. We are looking for you who want to be challenged and develop in your role as an educator. As an educator, you have a reflective, curious, listening, and co-inquiring approach. With your commitment, you should strive to create playful, challenging, stimulating learning environments and meeting places for children that invite exploration and discovery with many different forms of expression. You are clear in your professional role and have the ability to reach out to children, parents, and colleagues. You practice good leadership and contribute to creating engagement in the work group. You can work independently as well as in groups, and you are goal-oriented and task-focused. You are relationship-building and collaborate well with the contacts that occur in your professional role, adapted to the situation.
