We are now seeking a curious and innovative preschool teacher for Anneberg Preschool! With us, you will help create a preschool where children and adults grow, develop, and learn together with others. As a preschool teacher with us, you work to create conditions for children's development and learning through relationships, community, and inspiring learning environments. You work with language, visual arts, and sign language as support, creative materials, and a range of forms of expression. We use multiple languages and start from the understanding that the individual develops through, and with the help of, the community. Relationships are central to our work – between child and educator, child and child, and between preschool and family. You therefore work to create safety and inclusion for all families and help build a preschool where everyone's voices matter and where everyone feels welcome. Since 2024, we have been developing our expertise in relational pedagogy and deepening our understanding of Sven Persson's approach, which forms the foundation for children's growth. Through collaborative learning, we reflect together and develop our learning environments to support both children's and educators' exploration. We are inspired by Reggio Emilia's philosophy as we develop our shared values-based work. Pedagogical development and collaborative learning are a natural and important part of the work and are led by the preschool's pedagogista and director. Qualifications We are seeking a licensed preschool teacher who wants to help develop our operations. You are well familiar with the preschool's mission and have a clear child-focused approach. Previous experience working as a preschool teacher is an asset, especially if you have worked in diverse settings. We would like to see that you have experience using pedagogical documentation as a tool to develop instruction, as well as knowledge of how preschool learning environments can be used as the third educator. It is also an asset if you have knowledge of and experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication). Experience with systematic quality work is also considered an advantage. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, is reliable, and drives processes forward, both independently and with others. You are development-oriented, curious, and open to new perspectives. You are solution-focused and find opportunities to create an education program with your colleagues where children's best interests are the focus. You thrive in a culture based on collaborative learning, where systematic quality work is an important part. You should have: • Strong collaboration skills • Ability to implement curriculum goals in instruction that promotes children's development and learning • Good digital skills • Excellent knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written Good to Know For this application, you will need to answer a number of selection questions when you apply. We are seeking two preschool teachers with different start dates: one position starting Fall 2026 or by agreement, and one position starting January 2027.
