About the Activity At Växthusets Preschool, play is in focus as play is children's primary tool for learning. Play to Learn, Live and Succeed is what represents our preschool and the names of our departments. We believe in all children's ability to want to and be able to learn, where we work to ensure all children want to and dare to explore. Each individual should have the opportunity to become responsible and empathetic individuals who function well in a democratic society. Education should be characterized by children's interests and opportunities for new experiences, experiences and learning. Växthusets Preschool is located in the village of Bredared, a short distance outside Borås, with proximity to the forest and its fantastic opportunities. Nature and the local environment are natural elements and a major source of inspiration in our teaching. We have two yards that we divide between during the day. Our education is based on the preschool curriculum, Lpfö. During the 2026/27 school year, we will deepen development work on language based on the Language Plan with the goal of developing our own language policy at the preschool. Work Tasks Your tasks as a preschool teacher are to work together with the team to create the best possible conditions for each individual child's development and learning. As a preschool teacher, you are responsible for planning and implementing teaching according to applicable regulations. You use documentation as a method to follow up, analyze and evaluate results from your planned teaching. The analysis then forms the basis for developing teaching and education based on the preschool curriculum and the preschool's prioritized goals. You actively work to promote children's ability to participate and exercise influence over their education by listening to children's views, opinions and needs. You also have a good ability to create education based on each child's interests and needs and give each child the opportunity to succeed based on their own circumstances. You have pedagogical development time scheduled where there is time for reflection in the team, collaborative learning and individual planning. We have pedagogical Mondays every other week in the schedule, which means all staff work until 18:30 every other Monday. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a certified preschool teacher and who, together with the children at Växthusets, want to explore and discover. You find it easy to collaborate but can also work independently, and you see development and quality work as a natural and stimulating part of the assignment. You have a positive and open approach to everyone you meet and thus contribute to creating trusting relationships with everyone you meet in your professional role. As a pedagogue, you are engaged, driven, innovative, creative and see play as your primary tool for lifelong learning. You create conditions for sustainable development and concepts such as teaching, democracy, inclusion and accessibility are important in your work. You have a good ability to see all children's strengths and see it as obvious to work based on each child's and group of children's needs. We would like to see that you have good digital skills as digital is our primary tool for, for example, documentation and systematic quality work. It is also a merit if you have training/experience working with TAKK and visual supports. Since the preschool is located in the countryside, a driver's license and car are a must in order to get to and from Växthusets Preschool. You who have not yet received your certification or are taking your exam during the coming term are also warmly welcome to apply for the position (until you can present your certification, the employment is fixed-term).
