Torget Preschool is centrally located in Borås, with proximity to nature, schools, playgrounds, and libraries. The preschool is newly renovated and offers large, bright facilities as well as an inspiring and varied outdoor environment that promotes play, exploration, and learning. At our facility, children's play and language development are at the center. We believe that learning occurs through play - therefore we offer play-responsive teaching that is built on present adults and communicative interaction. Our large facilities provide excellent opportunities to design environments focused on community and interaction, while also offering the opportunity to work with our compensatory mission and challenge children to meet new experiences that inspire them further. Job Responsibilities As a preschool teacher at Torget Preschool, you are responsible for planning, implementing, documenting, and following up on instruction. You create security and inspire learning in activities and play where each child has the opportunity to develop according to their own abilities. You actively participate in ongoing values-based work and contribute to an open, inclusive, and respectful environment. Together with your colleagues, you work to develop and strengthen our play-responsive approach and ensure a professional and reflective work culture. As an educator with us, you have the opportunity to influence and develop in your professional role. If you want to get extra involved, we have development groups where we together drive the play-responsive approach and design our shared environments. We believe in collegial learning, gladly share our experiences, and have close collaboration across departments. Qualifications We are seeking a trained and certified preschool teacher who wants to participate in children's play. It is a plus if you have knowledge and interest in music, drama, outdoor pedagogy, or play-responsive teaching.
