Lillsjön Preschool opened in the fall of 2022 and is now seeking more dedicated preschool teachers who want to develop in their professional role. Our preschool has sustainability as its profile and we are driven by the opportunity to create positive hope for the future in children. We want to strengthen and challenge their sustainable competencies and interests with support from our profile and all parts of the curriculum. Working with children's influence through an approach of respect and curiosity is important. Children are tomorrow's problem solvers, so educators need to think both in the here and now while also thinking ahead. Job Responsibilities Your task as a preschool teacher is to work together with the team to create the best conditions for children's development and learning. We work in three teams distributed across six units, which increases our flexibility opportunities. We have assigned responsibility tasks that concern the entire preschool, and various groups to keep both individual and preschool development moving forward. You are responsible for teaching and ensuring that children's learning and development are documented, monitored, and analyzed. You actively work to promote children's ability to be involved and exercise influence over their education by taking advantage of their views, opinions, and needs. You have designated pedagogical development time built into your schedule, both for reflection with the work team and individual planning, as well as collaborative learning in cross-functional groups. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has a preschool teacher certification and a great sense of discovery to be able to give our children the best possible educational start in lifelong learning. Whether you are newly qualified or have worked for many years, you are warmly welcome to apply.
