Franska förskolan is now seeking an engaged and professional preschool teacher who, together with colleagues, wants to contribute to a secure, curious, and developmental education for our children. Franska förskolan is located in Landala in central Gothenburg and consists of three classrooms: Petite, Moyenne, and Grande. Here, children, educators, and families meet in an environment where language, culture, and relationships are a natural part of daily life. The preschool is part of Medborgarskolan Region Väst. Our pedagogical approach is based on a relational perspective, where we view children's development and learning in relation to the people, contexts, and learning environments they encounter. For us, this means we don't just ask what the child can do or needs to develop, but also what we as educators and an organization can change to create better conditions for the child to succeed. About the Position As a preschool teacher with us, you have a special responsibility for ensuring that education is conducted in accordance with the preschool curriculum and that the education is characterized by quality, progression, and children's participation. A Preschool with Language and Culture as an Asset At Franska förskolan, there is a strong connection to the French language and French culture. Children encounter both Swedish and French in their daily lives, and multilingualism is seen as an asset. Knowledge of French is therefore advantageous but not required.
